Special status is all Taiwan needs
By Jou Yi-cheng
here is an excerpt
`Taiwan should stop thinking it is abnormal. Instead, its people should recognize and embrace this specialness. Only then can Taiwan truly flesh out its long-term objectives.’

there are no substance, All they are doing is rallying their base supporter, and framing the 08 election as a:
vote kmt = (re)unification with the commi(china)
vote dpp = you love taiwan so much, you have to join the UN as “taiwan"
as the resulte, voters get passionate and irrational and other issues, such as military, economy, education and other reform get ignored.
